Thom Gunn revived and remembered, recorded
Clive Wilmer
On 26 October Clive Wilmer launched his Faber edition of the Selected Poems of Thom Gunn in the University Library with a talk, refreshments and an exhibition of Gunn’s correspondence. Wilmer, an Emeritus Fellow of Sidney Sussex College, was a friend of Gunn’s for nearly 40 years.
Unfortunately it’s too late to enjoy the refreshments and the exhibition, but an audio recording of the talk, made by Leslie Bell, is available here.
